Carina Bissett and Karen Bovenmyer have been awarded (respectively) the HWA Scholarship and the Mary Shelley Scholarship, each worth $2,500. For the first time the HWA Horror Poetry Showcase was reserved strictly for members. Despite some nervousness that a more limited field would yield limited results, there was a tremendous breadth of themes and styles.
