Leigh Hennig joins us today with a reading of his poem, “The Interview” from Poetry Showcase IX.

If you haven’t purchased your copy yet, it’s just one click away. Better yet, collect the whole series! Reviews and shares are always welcome.

R. Leigh Hennig is a writer, editor, and horror enthusiast living with his beautiful wife and three awesome kids in coastal New England. Previously he taught a series of classes on horror in literature with the King County Library System in Seattle, has written numerous essays on disability in speculative fiction (along with the usual slew of science fiction, fantasy, and horror short stories), was the editor-in-chief of Bastion Science Fiction Magazine, a volunteer compiler for the Horror Writers Association, and a panelist at StokerCon in Grand Rapids, MI. For a time he pursued his MFA in Creative Writing & Poetics from the University of Washington Bothell.

He fits these things around his day job in Boston, where he is the principal network architect for the largest datacenter in New England. He also co-founded Rocky Linux and the Rocky Enterprise Software Foundation, previously serving as its Director of Operations. In what sometimes feels like another life, he’s worked on closed projects with or for Amazon Web Services, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, NASA, JPL, and various three-letter-agencies.

He is an Active Professional Member of the Horror Writers Association and Codex.
