Welcome my darklings to the Canadian Crypt. It’s the month of Halloween, and, with all the ghosts and ghouls the month brings, let’s catch up with what our Canadian corpses have been up to …
John R. Little‘s new novel, The Murder Of Jesus Christ, was published by Bad Moon Books in May. It’s a dark fantasy time-travel novel that has been very well received to date. John has also seen Little By Little, the first volume of The Collected Short Fiction of John R. Little published in May from Lycan Valley Press. The four volumes will collectively contain all his published short fiction. The second of his collected short fiction, Little Things, will be published soon. In addition, John has had a number of other works out recently: a novella, “Faith,” appeared in the anthology I Am The Abyss (Chris Morey, editor), and a short story, “Memories,” was in the anthology When The Clock Strikes 13 (Steve Thompson, editor). His short story, “Anniversary,” can be found in the upcoming anthology Dark Tides (John J. Questore, editor).
Christine J. Whitlock is on a bus trip in the Balkans from the end of September to the beginning of October. She will visit Dracula’s Bran Castle in Transylvania and will be maxing out her credit card to buy memorabilia. Christine wrote, directed, and produced the indie horror feature film VAMPIRE DENTIST. Watch the trailer at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCbOpctGpPA. The excerpt of the beginning of the novelization of VAMPIRE DENTIST was published in the Group Hex, Vol. 1 anthology released by the HWA Ontario Chapter. Visit her Web site at http://www.cjcpinc.com.
Where will the Ontario Chapter be in October? Come haunt us at Frightmare in the Falls (Niagara Falls, ON) on October 26 and 27, and check out what some of the chapter members have to offer. There will also be some chapter members scaring the masses—stop by and say hello … If you dare!
